Aromatherapy is the art and science of utilising naturally extracted aromatic essences from plants to balance, harmonize and promote the health of body, mind and spirit.

So how did aromatherapy begin?
The use of essential oils for therapeutic, spiritual, hygienic and ritualistic purposes goes back to a number of ancient civilizations including the Chinese, Indians, Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans who used them in cosmetics, perfumes and drugs.
One of the best reasons to buy scented candles is the benefits due to their aromatherapy properties. Science and research has shown that many moods and negative emotions can be lifted due to the fragrances or scents that are introduced into the environment.
